How To Use The Designer1. Choose A Product & ColourChoose a product you want to customise by clicking on one of the small product images in the righthind panel of the designer. You can filter the list of products shown by using the "All Products" drop down list. To get more details about a particular product, click on the small information icon in the top left hand corner. Some products are available in a range of colours, you can select which one you want by clicking on the colour squares above the product picture. Finally choose which part (front, back, left arm, right arm etc.) that you want to customise by clicking on the small thumbnails above the main product image. 2. Choose A DesignClick on the Designs tab. Initally you will see the designs created by MJR Productions. If you want to see a range of designs by other designers' then use the two drop down lists above the designs displayed, or enter some text in the search box and press enter. To see the detail of a design, hover the mouse over a design and a small magnifying glass will appear. Click on the magnifying glass, and a larger image of the design will be displayed. Repeat this until you find a design you want to use, and then click "Select" below the enlarged picture. NB. Some designs may appear "greyed out". This is either because they are too big to fit the product you have choosen, or they are a digital print design which can only be placed on white garments. 3. Choose Design Material & ColoursFor vector designs you can choose from either Flex (similar to fine nylon/vinyl), Flock (similar to a fine felt), Special Flex Print (Glitter or Sparkle) and Write On Flex (using an erasable marker pen) by using the drop down list in the bottom left corner. To change the colour(s) used for the design first click on the small number one beside the design on the product image. Then move the mouse over the colour swatch to see the changes. Finally click on your choice of colour. If the design has more han one colour, repeat this process for number 2. The designer application only contains a small selection of the designs we have available. To browse through more designs, or to search by keywords, click on the Search For A Design image at the top right of this page. NB. When using the Special Flex only one colour can be used for the whole design, so choose designs made for one colour. 4. Position And Size DesignThe size of the design can be alterd either by dragging the arrow at the bottom right of it, or by using the slider in the panel below the product being customised. Similarly the design can be rotated using the rounded arrow, or the circular slider. To move the design just click in the center and drag it within the bounding box. In the panel below the product there are also buttons to centre horizontally, postion the design on the left breast, and to flip it in both horizontal and vertcal directions. 5. Add TextThis is very similar to steps 3 & 4, but instead you click on the text tab, type your desired text and then use the standard text formatting controls, similar to MS Word or other word processing software. 6. Upload A Picture From Your PCYou can also upload photographs and images from your PC for printing on to white garments. Just select the Designs tab on the right, and then click on the Upload A Photo link. You will be prompted to confirm you agree with the terms of usage. If you agree, check the check box and then click on the Choose A Photo button. Locate the image file on your PC, select it and then click Open. Your picture will then be uploaded, and you can select it from the Designs tab, under My Designs. Please note that you can not make a digital image bigger than 100% as the quality would be degraded. You can however make a picture smaller, so always upload the highest resolution you have. 7. Complete Your Custom ProductSteps 1-6 can be repeated or omitted (you can have design and text, design only, or text only) until you are happy with your custom product. Check your spelling if you have added text, and then check it again! Finally select a size and quantity and click on "Put In Cart". A popup message will confirm the item has been added to the cart. Click OK. You can now either design another product, browse the pre-designed products using the Products Menu on the left, or go to the checkout by clicking on Cart/Checkout in the Shop Menu on the left.
